Nació en Roma. Sus padres, una modelo italiana y un arquitecto
egipcio, se separaron siendo ella muy niña. Tras pasar
sus primeros años en un pueblo del Piamonte, junto a su
madre, se trasladó a vivir con su padre, Olivier Sednaoui,
a Egipto. Estudió en París, donde comenzó
su carrera de modelo con 15 años. A los 18 vivió
en Nueva York. Con 19, pasó un año en Barcelona.
“Tuve un novio allí”, revela. “Y antes
tuve la desgracia de enamorarme de un mexicano. Así que
hablo español gracias a una desgracia. Elijo la palabra
a conciencia”, dice esbozando una enigmática sonrisa.Tras
el divorcio de sus padres en 1994, se muda a París. En
2006, viaja a Nueva York para probar suerte en el mundo de la
moda. Y, al final, logra triunfar. Coach, H&M o Victoria's
Secret son algunas de las primeras firmas para las que trabaja
como imagen. Después llegarían Triumph, Diane
Von Furstenberg o Giorgio
Armani. Uno de sus grandes éxitos fue posar
frente a Karl
Lagerfeld para el Calendario Pirelli 2011. Además
de cine, Sednaoui ha aparecido en campañas para Chanel
Eyewear, Giorgio Armani y Roberto
Cavalli una campaña de la fragancia en febrero
de 2012, fotografiada por Steven Klein para la prensa y Johan
Renck para la televisión. Sednaoui ha aparecido en revistas
como Vogue EE.UU., Vogue Italia , Vanity Fair , L'Officiel , Flair
, Marie Claire y Elle.
